47th Convention International Double Reed Society (IDRS) Granada, 2018
Hi everyone! How are you? Welcome one more day to the blog of MusicBayside Oboe.
Today I would like to share with you the information about my participation in the 47th International Double Reed Society convention to be held in Granada from August 28th to September 1st, 2018.
On Wednesday, August 29th at 1:15 p.m., I’ll be given a presentation entitled: E-Learning a musical instrument in the 21st century. Online teaching, social networks and digital marketing.
I would like to start asking ourselves some questions.
How can we innovate in the world of classical music so that it reaches more people? What about the e-learning of a musical instrument? What can new technologies bring to the musicians in the classroom and beyond? What is a knowmad and how can we apply it to our musical world? Why is it important to generate our own value?
These, among others, will be some of the questions to which we will try to give constructive answers that help us to look from a new perspective to the learning process of a musical instrument.
We will deal with issues of current relevance such as online teaching and learning, new technologies applied to music education, the importance of digital marketing managed by the artist-musician or the new educational possibilities offered by the internet and social networks.
The place of the event is the Sala Machado of the Congress Palace in Granada and I encourage everyone to attend and take active part of it.
Also this year, we will try to overcome a new World Record Guiness with the concert of the largest Double Reed Band that will take place on Friday, August 31st at 11pm on the outdoor of Congress Palace of Granada.
