I’m Nuria Cabezas and today I have prepared a post in which we will see 4 Exercises to Warm Up our Breathing and prepare our body to play.
How to warm up our breathing to play a wind instrument?
4 Exercises to warm up our breathing
Exercise 1
Make deep inhalations through the mouth trying to relax the whole body.
Exercise 2
Take air in 5 and breath out in 5. Also taking and expelling in 4,3,2, and 1 pulses.
Exercise 3
Take air in 5, keep it for 5 pulses and breath out in 5. Repeat the process with 4,3,2 and 1 pulses.
Exercise 4
Take air in 6 with the back of the hand in front of your mouth. We breathe out explosively in 1 and then, we continue emptying in 5 until the end.
